I’ve been around construction my whole life. My dad used to take me and my brother with him to his side jobs after school.

While other kids were waking up to cartoons on Saturday mornings, I was waking up early to help hang drywall, tape and float, do metal stud framing — and yes, clean up trash from the job sites.
 

It wasn’t always fun. But it taught me something I’ll never forget — the value of showing up, working hard, and doing things right.
 

That work ethic is what I carry with me today in every concrete job I do. Whether I’m pouring a driveway, building a foundation, or replacing an old sidewalk — I show up early, I put in the work, and I make sure it’s done right the first time.
